Just wanted to show you a little sneak peak of a new theme I’m working on nicknamed ‘August’. One of the cool features will be the ability to set a background image on a per page basis that will stretch to fit the whole browser window (it will automatically resize based on the size of the window and keep the image proportionate). I can’t wait to finish this up and get this released! Until then here’s a little screenshot:

Nice theme!
Can’t wait for it.
Thanks Thomas!
Very nice! Like the new site btw.
Thanks & thanks!
Hey, loving your new redesign too! just saw that. looks great!
Very nice as always.
Nice work!
Awesome!
I love the ability to add the background images per page. Question on the design though: Will the ability exist to control the opacity of the background behind the header image and text? The sample shot above shows some translucency which is great. However for some pages a solid white background may be better. When do you think you will release this?
Great job!!
Ed,
Thanks for the feedback! I am finishing up some testing and hope to have this released by the end of the week. The header/navigation has a changed a little bit since I posted the preview, but the background is still transparent and the transparency can be changed via the theme’s main css file. You will be able to change the color of the header and nav background (along with a bunch of other stuff) via the customize theme area in the concrete5 dashboard though.
